Women’s Lenten Bible Study

Wednesdays • February 21–April • 7.00p • Nave

Share your Lenten journey with other women in our community at All Souls by joining our Wednesday night Bible Study. We will be using N.T. Wright’s, Lent for Everyone: Mark, Year B as the basis for our sharing together. Lent for Everyone serves as a daily Scripture devotion through the Lenten season—from Ash Wednesday and finishing the week after Easter. Bishop Wright presents to the reader brief scriptural passages that draw out the themes found in the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel Lectionary, accompanied by his own brief reflection and prayer each day. Mary Vanhoozer will serve as our facilitator and will lead participants in reflecting with each other how the themes and Scriptures impact our Lenten experience. Contact Mary Vanhoozer to join and we will get your book ordered!

Lenten Soup Suppers

Wednesdays • February 28, March 6, March 13, March 20 • 6.00p

Lenten Soup Suppers are back! Please join us four Wednesdays during Lent for soup & singing. We’ll begin with a communal meal of nourishing soups and bread. Enjoy conversation with your fellow Souls and stay for singing. Please contact Caris Wood to be added to the email list for updates and to sign up to help with food and logistics. This event is appropriate for all ages and stages—basically anyone who eats supper!
