zao youth ministry
Zao is Greek for “I live.” Our youth ministry is all about living the abundant life that Jesus calls us to. Our desire is that our students will follow Jesus with their heads, hearts and hands. Loving God, and loving others.
Our group is for students from 6th to 12th grade. We meet weekly for Bible study to pray and talk about the Bible, and we also meet regularly to have fun together and enjoy our community with movie nights, scavenger hunts, and other events. Check the schedule below to see what we’re up to.
We strive to be a place where you can come and just be yourself. There is no need to pretend as if you are something you aren’t. Jesus loved messy people and living like Jesus starts by being honest about our need for Him.
If you are interested in visiting us, sign up at allsouls.com for the weekly youth newsletter, and you’ll get information about what is going on in Zao. We look forward to seeing you!
Zao Zoom Youth Room
Middle School • 6.30p-7.30p
High School • 7.15p-8.15p
On Sunday nights we gather on a zoom call to catch up, play a game together, pray together, and learn more about our faith. This Fall, we are looking at videos from The Bible Project about the different kinds of literature we find in Scripture, how to read them, and why they matter to us now. The link for the zoom call is always zoom.zaoyouth.com.
In Person Youth Group
Once a month, instead of our Zoom call we gather from 4.00p-5.30p at All Souls to gather together in person. We’re learning about different spiritual practices and trying them out together – a way to walk with Jesus in our everyday lives. Our next in person gathering will be on Sunday, October 11.
Check back for information about other upcoming events.
If you have any questions – shoot our youth pastor, Andrew, an email.
