St Nicholas Celebration
Wednesday • December 6 • 7.00p
Join us for our traditional celebration of the life of St. Nicholas. The evening will begin with a short dramatization of St Nick’s life and ministry, followed by festivities downstairs, which will include:
- activities & refreshments
- seasonal craft
- St. Nicholas Shoppe
- cookie exchange
We invite you join in St. Nicholas’ tradition of gift-giving by shopping the St. Nicholas Shoppe that evening. Every item is $1 (bring cash!), a wonderful way for children (or children at heart) to do some Christmas shopping. All proceeds benefit Outreach.
Here are ways you might want to participate:
- Contribute NOW to the St. Nicholas Shoppe: donate your second hand items by placing them under the coat rack in the Undercroft.
- Shop at the St Nicholas Shoppe on December 6 (in the Nursery & Sprouts Rooms). Everything is $1 for these gently used items.
- Volunteer NOW to help with our activities and refreshments.
- Exchange cookies on December 6: bring 1 dozen, take a dozen home . . . bring 5 dozen, take 5 dozen home . . . . Drop off before the play or bring down afterward.
Contact Denise Milliner with questions and to volunteer.
This memorable event is wonderful for all ages and part of our Advent preparation for Christmas. If you are not familiar with our celebration or Bishop Nicholas of Myra (modern day Turkey), we hope you will join us and be inspired.
