Collins’ Story

Collins is now the CEO of the KDS schools, but grew up in Dandora and attended KDS. Collins’s twin sisters were in the class that did the journaling & photo project in 2005. They took a photo of Collins sleeping on the dirt floor with his brother. This picture has become a poignant reminder of the potential of each child in the slums of Dandora. It is a hope and inspiration of all God can do in the life of anyone, no matter what it might seem from a “snapshot”.

Several of us at All Souls are now working with Teresia and Collins on a follow-up project with the alumni from that 2005 Class—to see where they are today, the impact KDS made in their lives, and to testify to what God has done, and how He has answered their prayers. More on this project to come!
